That is from ShinOsaka Station, which is outside of "downtown" Osaka. A short cab ride or hop on a local train from Osaka Station to ShinOsaka - it will take about 5 minutes and cost another 160 yen by train. Slight variations from other "downtown" stations like Umeda or Namba.

From ShinOsaka station to Tokyo Station, 14,250 yen for the fastest, most frequent "Nozomi" trains. About 300 yen less for the very slightly slower, less frequent "Hikari" trains.

I always just start out at shin-Osaka and have never had occasion to learn this. Just tried it (not questioning you, mind) and it sure is the same price.

These kanjis correspond with the ones on the ticket. Look for highlighted 「山」(yama). If the ticket's destination (origin) is 「山」(yama), you can get off (on) at any station in the 「山」(yama) area.
