NRT Security Question
I will be transiting through NRT next month on the way to HKG.
What are the rules for carrying liquids onto airplanes in carryon bags? If I buy a bottle of liquor at a duty free shop in the US, will I have a problem carrying it onto the NRT-HKG flight? |
I do not think you will have any problems. I think the liquid restrictions are for US and UK bound flights.
A very similar question in the NW forum: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=620417 |

(Edit to add that I flew on ANA) |
If you are flying United Airlines, or any US carrier, irrespective of destination, then there will be a secondary check at the gate. I had liquids confiscated from me when boarding a UA flight to TPE two weeks ago.

If I recall there have been some restrictions lifted, ie liquids purchased in the secure area (after security) are allowed. |
