Kumejima

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone out there has been to the island of Kumejima in Okinawa (55 miles from OKA).

I am planning to go there for day-trip/one night stay from Tokyo (via OKA). The main purpose of this trip would be to experience the Ryuku Air Commuter plane. But, I might as well spend some time there whilst I'm there. The beaches look fantastic! I also hear that the Obake-zaka is there (the hill where a ball rolls UP a hill).

Does anyone have any suggestions to what I should go and do/where I should eat/stay (if I want to spend a night).

Thanks,

Thanks Q Shoe Guy.

Strange how ANA don't fly there and have a resort-style hotel...
And that JAL fly there and NOT have a hotel (seems that they aren't owners of the Kume-island hotel anymore).
