If I read the notice correctly it would seem that the folks at webflyer tech might need our help. If there are any threads that should be fished out from the "Other Asia" forum and put in the Japan forum please post a link on this thread. We can then alert the tech people about which threads to move!
Thanks for your help in advance as I know you are all busy with year end/tenkin etc.

Hopefully, I have already supplied that help. I've just spent several hours going thru the Asia forum. I moved every thread I could identify as being specific to Japan to this forum. Still, there are likely a handful that I've missed. If you spot them, let me know and I'll send them here.

Thanks, jib71. About half the threads were already in the new forum; the others are there now. I wonder if there were redirects in the Asia forum that led you to think they were already there? I tried to be diligent to move threads without leaving a redirect. However, that is the default. I think the result is that it looks as though the thread is still in Asia but when you click on it, it actually is in Japan.

Thanks for doing this. Any chance of getting a sticky with links to the kind of information that gets asked again, and again, and again, information that gets asked quite often, as well as answers to questions that people should be asking?

LapLap, your wish is now my command. It is now a sticky.

For the moment, we can make whatever you like a sticky - but after about 3 threads stickies become annoying rather than useful. At that point, it will be great if someone volunteers to write a master thread with links to the often asked questions; I (or any senior mod) can then sticky that and all the referenced threads are unstickied.

And I'm delighted we will meet in London in November. :)
