UPDATE - NOVEMBER 24

Confirmed participants:

- jib71
- Schoflyer
- mjm
- DoubleJ

Eating place:

I've done some trolling through Gurunavi - and came up with this izakaya:
Enoki Tei
Karasumori Building 1F
Tel: 03-3434-5735
http://r.gnavi.co.jp/g133500/

Does this fit the bill?
Shall I make us a reservation? (Currently four people).

Meeting place:

I suggest that we meet at Shinbashi station at 6.00pm - OK?
The easiest place is probably inside the station at the exit closest to the steam locomotive.

I have forwarded my mobile phone number to all of the currently registered participants. Anyone else who thinks that they might join us - please put your name on this thread soon.

PLEASE ADD A POST TO THIS THREAD WITH YOUR NAME IF YOU WILL JOIN US - I WILL KEEP UPDATING THE PARTICIPANT LIST HERE.

BTW -
I considered a few other options before going for Enoki Tei:
http://r.gnavi.co.jp/g042704/
http://r.gnavi.co.jp/g528912/
http://r.gnavi.co.jp/g133500/

If you know any better izakaya in the Shinbashi area, I'm still open to suggestions.

Looks fine and many thanks for looking after this. I will be there by about 7:30 at the latest although until about two days before I will not know if it will be 7:30 or 6pm that I can make it by. It is about 50/50 to get there on time or get there by 7:30. Will show up though.

Works for me. I'll advise via keitai if NH007 F is running late! It will arrive prior to NH007 Y though

Both the choice of izakaya and the meeting place/time are fine. Thanks for setting this up, jib71.

hi jib71,

would it be alright if a college student such as myself came along? although I have finals coming up, so I would feel quite bad if I could not make it, but I'm quite curious about these FT meets...sorry in advance

Hey Tad - You will be very welcome. I'll send you a phone number by private message.

I don't think any of us will want to drink vast quantities or stay out very late - since we all have work to do on Friday. If you need to go home early and get back to revising for your finals, that's fine too.

Hey, there's a coupon for a free half bottle of wine at the Gurunavi link you gave, jib71.

I'll bring along a printout just in case.

Complimentary half-bottle of wine in a cheap izakaya?
It's likely to be of dubious quality ...
