Double Post... What to do during overnight stopover in Tokio...?
 

Have posted this also in the JAL forum, but thought it may be valuble to have it here also....

G'day,

a friend of mine flys on Friday with JAL to Germany. Arrival in Tokio at 18:30, departure next day at 13:30.

Any advice what she can do during that rather long stopover?

Also, any does or don'ts...? And what to expect from JAL service?

Not long enough to go to Tokyo, she should just spend the night in Narita and maybe visit the temple the following morning. Check Mike Newman's Narita Layover page for all the data she'll need.

This is a small amount of time. It can take an awfully long time between Tokyo and Narita - I think the airport bus leaves 3 hours before flight departure.

However, I'd still go into Tokyo and have a nice dinner and a walk.
