JAPAN FOOD HALL: NRT Terminal 2

New food court, JAPAN FOOD HALL, will open at NRT Terminal 2 on Sept. 1. The new food court is located post security (after passport control) at second floor. JAPAN FOOD HALL will have outside terrace seating. The price is on little high side. The following website is in Japanese but has a lot of pictures of new JAPAN FOOD HALL at NRT Terminal 2.

Looks nice -- bummed now we almost always fly ANA... Hopefully some day they will bring something like this to Terminal 1....

I should have taken the Narita flight Sunday rather than the Haneda one. It was more schedule choice though, so I didn't truly have a choice. Next time I guess.

How do you know it'll be pricey? I don't see any prices in the article.

The Japanese website I referenced indicated as such. According to this article, Narita Airport authority asked restaurants at this new JAPAN FOOD HALL to put emphasis on quality over price conscious. One ramen dish served in JAPAN FOOD HALL has slices of truffle and this ramen is priced over 2000 yen. Beef katsu set plate meal served at another place in JAPAN FOOD HALL is priced above 6000 yen.

This is really helpful, thank you!

And a good way to try foods which I may have missed.

Worth noting that one of the restaurants here, "Teppanyaki Dotonbori Kurita", is on Priority Pass.

Description sounds very similar to Botejyu at KIX Domestic (which is run by the same company). Menu sounds similar too. Should be a nice place for free okonomiyaki before leaving Japan.

Thank you for the information. I have Priority Pass through a credit card membership, but I have not made used out of my Priority Pass membership because I usually have a lounge access through airline. This could be my first time I will make use of my Priority Pass membership.

One of my common stops at NRT Terminal 2 is takoyaki and beer at Tsukiji Gindako at pre-security, head to security/passport control, then to Sakura Lounge. However, my new stops could go through security/passport control first, okonomiyaki at Teppanyaki Dotonbori Kurita using my priority pass, then head to Sakura Lounge.

I have my eyes on curry udon at Udon Tayuto. I am a sucker when to comes to curry udon. I am willing to pay little when it comes to curry udon.

I have done a bit more research on Teppanyaki Dotonbori Kurita as my upcoming travels will take me through NRT T2 a couple times.

According to a Japanese mileage blogger, for PP customers there is a choice between an okosoba+takoyaki set or a grilled meat set.
In this sense it is inferior to the KIX Domestic experience where you could choose what you liked on the menu and 3400 yen was taken off your bill. But free food is free food

Thank you for the update. Priority Pass at NRT T2 Teppanyaki Dotonbori Kurita is not what I hoped for, but it is not a disappointment or loss. Getting takoyaki out of Priority Pass is still a good deal since takoyaki at Tsukiji Gindako at pre-security is one of my common stops. Now I do not have to pay for takoyaki at NRT T2.
