Best current mobile data options
 

Going to be in Japan alone for 2 weeks and just need enough data to text message, watch YouTube, and browse social media. Would it be better to go Pocket WiFi or get a sim card? What's the best options for both cause I know Japanese companies are out to get the silly foreigners money. Can read a bit of Japanese so don't mind jumping through hurdles if there's cheaper options there.
