Mongobot, thank you and this is exactly what I was looking for! I know where this is since I often have taken the Keikyu line.
I especially appreciate you taking the time to insert the pictorial map.
Searching more I do see the google map with this location pinpointed--but it just didn't match to the Haneda terminal map which threw me. I found additional pictures that even show the escalator down to 2F with the Keikyuu signage.

I guess the official Haneda terminal map is not current. I also found a listing of shops and services as of 8/31/2023 and this 7-11 wasn't listed on there either which is odd.

Hopefully my flight will be on time so that I can go get my stamps and then do the secondary before they close.

I could be wrong, but I've seen multiple DPs of people with visa business signature rejected (on Taiwanese forum). I recall someone said they asked officers there and said they only accept personal cards.

Based on my personal experience, when I gave my credit card to the officer for validation, he was really looking for the word "Platinum" to process. As I have given him a Visa Infinite Card as well, he did not take a copy of that. To be safe, try to provide a copy with the word "Platinum" printed on the credit card.

It's probably harder to find a "Visa Platinum" card in the US lol. But I've seen multiple DPs of visa signature being accepted. I decided to use my AMEX Plat to avoid any hassle though.

Same here for me. I use my AMEX Platinum card and the officer was pleased to find the word "Platinum". I wonder if I produce a Debit Visa Platinum Card, will it work as well?

I got my Platinum card recently and it does not have the word on it, looking through the Amex homepage it doesn't show either on the JP or US website. Maybe I should add a label myself...

In SG, it used to be in the front, but for the recent design, it is moved to the back of the card. Not too sure if the ones in US or JP follows the same design.

My German card only has a generic address and phone number in that place.

Just to add another data point.

Applied on 8/3 using category D (credit card) option and received notice on 9/11 for the completion of preliminary inspection, taking 40 days in total.

Came back to Tokyo from FUK and finally got my TTP card - No issues with fingerprints and they retook my picture right there in the room. 15 minutes total. Longest part was riding the bus from terminal 2 to 3.

Got my card in Osaka city. Wait time to get the notice for credit card category was 42 days. The immigration building is a bit odd, as there are large stairs to the second floor, but to get to the required third floor you need to use an elevator. Went there around 1 pm and that section was empty. They took my passport, credit card and told me to wait. The missing "Platinum" label on my Amex (while clearly being a Plat card) apparently wasn't a problem. Due to the wait time, I was technically a few days outside 2 landing permissions in the last 12 months. I do have a fair amount of entrance stamps and they're usually within less than 12 months of each other including my last two, maybe that was enough or they count full months or I got lucky. Stamps can be purchased at the second floor, cash only.

Anyone get approved recently? Been 48 days and I'm 2 weeks away from my trip. This seems to be taking longer than previous data points.

Just to close the loop, initial examination was completed today and received my e-mail, 49 days since I submitted it (for category D). Seems like wait times are longer now.

Thanks for the update. My application is 19 days in so I guess I've got another month or so then.

My first application in 2017 took 59 days, so this is actually an improvement.
