Klook - Has Anyone Used Recently?

Buying a Japan Rail Pass and their price is about 10% cheaper than any other seller I can find in USA. I've never heard of them. Apparently, a travel reseller in Asia. Mixed reviews on Tripadvisor.

Any reviews from Flyertalk folks (whom I trust more than Tripadvisor). I need to buy asap so appreciate any prompt replies.
Thanks in advance.

Prices are the same as other sites, they just give you better exchange rate if paying in USD. For example, if you go to the site I use: Book your Japan Rail Pass ! | Japan Experience (japan-experience.com) and set it to JPY instead of USD, it'll be 64,120 yen for a 14-day green car adult jr pass, which is $442.97, Klook charges $443.10. So you can get the same price from most of them if you pay in yen instead of USD if you want to use a more well-known site That said, Klook does look legit to me.

Klook also runs promo codes and had a bonus point program. I have used them to book KIX train, daily transit pass, Skyliner, & JR Kyushu pass (with pick up) pre-pandemic. JapanRailPass' direct booking is a little more expensive (same price as in-person) but allows advance seat reservation if that's important https://japanrailpass.net/en/purchase.html#anchor04
After purchasing a JAPAN RAIL PASS on the dedicated website, it is possible to reserve seats on the same website for Shinkansen and limited express trains.
More info on various resale channels:
https://jprail.com/travel-informatio...s-maximum.html

Some of the regional Japan Rail passes have a better cost performance for travelers going to specific areas other than golden triangle. https://jprail.com/train-passes Some of them also allow advance seat reservations online for the most expensive Nozomi-class trains.

I use Klook a lot on my travels in Asia, most recently used it in Singapore. They are based in HK and have been around for years. I find customer service to be good as well. Had an issue with a pocket wifi once and they refunded after I provided them with screenshots of the issue.

Will also chime in and have used Klook on many trips around Asia. Have never had issues with any of my purchases. Was also looking at their pricing for a JR Pass for my trip in February and will likely go with them.

So far I've been very impressed with Klook. I placed my order Friday night as I realized it was the last day before their 2 week cutoff (everyone I contacted had a 2 week advance of departure date purchase requirement in order to get the exchange order in time.) They emailed me a tracking # about 12 hours later. Package was shipped today Monday (the first business day after my order was placed) with an estimated delivery on Thursday. (BTW Klook ships the exchange order from Taipei via DHL)

I checked multiple sales venues in the USA and Klook was the least expensive, likely because they price in yen with a good exchange rate. The least expensive authorized dealer in the USA was $350+$12 shipping = $362 (Nippon). Klook cost $326.55 complete, free shipping.

I was very disappointed with the customer service of the 2 authorized dealers in the USA that I personally contacted Friday early afternoon. One answered the phone but the clerk knew very little info about the pass. She took my email and said she'd email me answers to my questions (not hard ones) and as of Monday night I have received no email. Each time I called the second company I received a voice mail (no person ever answered the phone), I left one message Friday afternoon and so far have received no call back. I did have a question for Klook after I placed my order. I emailed them. And they replied around 24 hours later on a Saturday (Sunday morning Taipei time if that's where their call center is location, not sure).

I'll report back any problems with Klook but I anticipate receiving my exchange order on Thursday and I would certainly use them again.

UPDATE: RECEIVED EXCHANGE ORDER WEDNESDAY (early and 2 business days after ordered). VERY PLEASED WITH KLOOK SERVICE AND I WILL USE THEM AGAIN.

another satisfied klook customer - I have used them for booking pocket wifis, various excursions, transit passes, etc.

klook has been around for some time - at least five years. and they are reputable enough to be guests of Bloomberg in Hong Kong where even within the last 2 months or so the Bloomberg talking heads were asking about the timeline for klook to go public

I used Klook to buy tickets to Tokyo DisneySea and Disneyland since the Disney official ticket site didn't let me use a US credit card. Very easy to book and tickets were delivered via email a few minutes after paying.

I'll try klook for first time.
Booked on Monday 23pm. Let's see how long it takes to arrive. I'll wait the Mail Exchange Order to be received in Brazil. For the moment (about 1 day passed) no tracking number was informed yet.

Update
A couple of minutes later I sent this message, I received the mail with tracking number via DHL, exactly 24h after the booking! It seems like it will work
If so, surely I will buy tickets for events and visits in Japan

Used Klook a couple of weeks ago to book a family day at Disney Sea. As we are U.K. residents with British Bank cards, it was much, much easier to use than the official Tokyo Disney portal.

Despite pre-opting to not receive marketing emails I got one a few days ago in my email inbox, entirely in Japanese. Had to look really hard to find where to press to unsubscribe. There was a barely discernible こちら hidden in some text.

Another longtime customer here, just got my last ever Japan Rail Pass exchange voucher (sniff) off Klook. Purchased last night, received DHL tracking number this morning.

Also a note that you can get up to 6% cashback (current Topcashback promotion), it codes as travel on credit cards (so another 3-5% depending on your valuation), and a little extra in the form of Klook credits + if you write a review with scenery pictures.

Final update
I received the exchange order on Friday 15th. So less than 4 days. Very quick, from Taipei to Brazil.
