2 days in Tokyo - hotel question

Hi all, I am staying in Tokyo for two nights (with early departure out of NRT to return to US) and would like to find a hotel that's a straight shot to NRT. Budget is around $200/night. Any recommendations on a convenient location? I've stayed near Tokyo Station and Ueno before, but would like to find somewhere livelier and with view of the city this time. Thanks!

Hotel Muse Ginza Meitetsu looks nice, especially the balcony room, but location does not seem very convenient. Are there similar hotels right on a subway stop with direct service to NRT?

What about places right at Shinjuku? Livelier than other spots and direct to NRT via NEX, pretty simple. Not sure what the first train to NRT departs at. There are many hotels to chose from

I would choose Shinjuku too

first nex leaves at 5:55 and gets to Narita by 7:20. I took the next one at 6:34 reaching at 8, more than enough time to reach my 9:45 flight..

Your us flight should be around 10am

There are other options along the nex line (shinagawa, Shibuya)

There are limo buses from various hotels to Narita too, even the access-tokkyu subway line (goes thru ginza as Tori asakusa line) direct to Narita without transfers (don't take it,it's much longer and designed for commuters, no place for bags)

Hi,

There is also the limosine bus from a few Shinjukuk hotels ( ie a 620 from the Hlton had its final pick up at 650 am ( at Park Hyatt) and was at T2 at 750am ( about 20mins faster than scheduled)

The Hilton and Hyatt Regency are served by the bus.

Regards

Hotels at Shinjuku with city views and Mt. Fuji: Century Southern Tower, Hyatt, and a few others.

As noted above, no need to arrive at NRT more than 2 hours before departure. You'll even have time for a bit of airport shopping. Japanese airports are quite efficient.

I am a little older so I'd probably find someplace in Ueno or Asakusa and then take the Keisei line to NRT. For younger folks who want nightlife, I'd agree with others about Shinjuku.
