Oh that's interesting. I guess they would be selling them at prices shown at http://www.japanrailpass.net/about_jrp.html ? I have only purchased them from the overseas resellers before.

Seems buying an exchange order in advance is still cheaper.

It looks like you can buy a Japan Rail Pass at several airports in Japan including Narita as well as many JR stations. Check the lower part of this page.
