Possible to walk from NRT Terminal 1 to Terminal 2?

Hello,

I have a dog and will need to walk from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2 to meet my family coming in on another flight (international). Does anyone know if this is possible?

Thanks Much!

There is to my memory no sidewalk on the roads between T1 and T2. But I have not noticed any signs banning pedestrians.

There is a free shuttle bus, are dogs not allowed on it?

The only sidewalks I recall are on part of the roadway distance between terminals, where I saw some people walking. I assumed they worked for one of the contracting/catering companies in the area. It's the sidewalk on the RHS that has some really colourful plants, after one of the stop lights leaving T1.

That said, @CPH-Flyer had a good question about taking dog on the shuttle.

For anyone else who searches this thread, here is the link to the

NARITA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT - Transfer Between Terminals

It includes map and info about shuttle services.

https://www.narita-airport.jp/en/access/shuttlebus/

As always, quite informative.

As this seems to be a more general question about NRT I am moving this to the Japan forum.

I did it once a long time ago. Can't remember exactly. Seemed like it was about 15 minutes... mostly sidewalk. Not super straightfoward but not that difficult either. You can see the direction you're headed. I'd just get walking directions from Google map if you want to try it.

What are you going to do with the dog once you get to Terminal 2?

Google maps suggests 20 minutes. Slightly different route than what the bus is taking. So that's probably where the sidewalks are...

Just follow the yellow phone road....
