Global Entry interviews in Tokyo
For those of you based in Japan with frequent travel to the US, ACCJ is hosting GE interviews in Tokyo at the end of August. Also, "a limited number of Japanese citizens of all ages" can apply for GE by obtaining a special promotional code from the CBP Attache. Get 'em while they last!

I lucked out in getting an appointment at the ACCJ... randomly decided I wanted an APEC card yesterday and took the last open appointment!

The ACCJ will be hosting Global Entry interviews September 14. If you are interested in participating in the local interview process, you will need to apply ASAP through the Global Entry web site (https://ttp.cbp.dhs.gov/). Interviews will be held at the ACCJ Tokyo office during business hours Friday, September 14. Please note that interviews will also be held September 10-13 at the American Center Japan. Thanks for the tip! Been meaning to add the APEC card, so this works out perfectly. Registration took a bit of extra time because I had to convert the old GOES account to the new Login.gov system, but it wasn't too bad. Confirmed for 10am on Sept 14th... plenty of slots still available!
