Priority Pass Lounge @ NRT

So I’m flying from SFO to CTS via NRT. The stopover at NRT will be a little over two hours. One of the included benefits of my Chase Sapphire Reserve card is getting access to Priority Pass lounges. I know that there are several Priority Pass lounges at NRT and I was curious to check it out during the short NRT stopover, but I can’t seem to find out if my stopover at NRT will be in the same part of the airport as these lounges. Is there a way to find out where in NRT my stopover will take me through?

You will arrive into Terminal 1, clear immigration and customs, come out into the arrivals hall, check in for your domestic flight near the arrivals hall, and then go through to the domestic gates.

After you have come out into the arrivals hall, and before you proceed to the domestic gates, you will be able to use two Priority Pass lounges at Terminal 1 which are landside.

Just a heads up. The Priority Pass lounges land side are incredibly basic, and are almost always packed. The IASS lounge is the better of the two, as it was refurbished recently. Avoid the TEI one.

I second what weetanuki is saying, but it's nice to have the option if you fly domestic (and don't get lounge access from your airline) or if the lounge you get through your flight is equally crowded or depleted

self-plug, I'm currently running a giveaway for a 1 year priority pass at http://woobox.com/nsy74s

A bit annoying that there is no airside Priority Pass loinge at Narita Terminal 2 (oneworld). I did find a nice lounge-like waiting area in the passageway between the two terminal wings -- near the odd-but-semi-interesting Toto toilet gallery (with fancy toilets you can actually use). It's also next to a coffee shop/beer stand. The seating varies quite a lot, with semi-private reclining "beds" the most desirable, and hardest to get. I wound up in a semi-private cubicle with comfy chair and electrical plug both times. It felt like a airline lounge without food or drink. The free, fast wifi made the time pass quickly. If you need more stimulation, they also seem to have free Japanese crafts being demonstrated in the same corridor, next to the toilet gallery.

The Kal lounge airside @ NRT T1 (only airside lounge) is pretty basic too

Cup noodles, snacks (cookies, rice crackers), onigiri, drinks (soft drinks, beer and some liquor), no showers.

Sometimes they stop accepting PP (they put out a sign saying over capacity), but enough people leave after 1 hour and the remove the sign

If you exit and go towards the north, the two shops there have KitKat samples (other shops don't usually have KitKat samples)

KAL lounge used to be one of the NWA world clubs back in the day.
Thread here is not really ANA related, recommend moving.

If they have cup noodles, onigiri and drinks, that's not bad. The other Priority Pass lounges at NRT don't even have those things, correct? I've not been to any of them yet. I only have Star Alliance and PP access. Usually fly out of T1, so I've not had any reasons to use PP lounges. But I'm flying out of T2 later on, so will need to use a PP lounge in T2. I presume they offer no free food?

yeah, all the other lounges at NRT (IASS/TEI) are landside, no food(maybe rice crackers only), only drinks

disappointing when compared to lounges at other asian airports

Okay. I probably won't even bother then. It'd be nice if they had an easy way to transfer between terminals airside so that I could use T1 lounge before T2 departure.

This is standard Japanese domestic pay-in lounge set up throughout the country. Don't forget they cost only 1000 yen to enter for the general public.
