Transfer: Comparing HND with NRT

I had an int'l to domestic connection in HND a couple of weeks ago.

Immigration was very fast, and the connection was easy (small bag drop off section for connecting flights, and an easy bus ride to the other terminal).

I was just wondering how similar the NRT connection will be.

Without thinking, I purchased a similar flight with a connection to NRT, but shorter layover (still 1.5h). I just want to know if the connection will be as fast as HND (which was really fast), since it doesn't seem the airport has that many domestic flights going on!

Thanks.

Edit: Thanks for the replies! I will post back to this thread with my full comparison once I get back from the trip!

If you transfer within the same terminal, NRT should be a breeze. Just pass through immigration and customs, then walk to the domestic counter.

If not in the same terminal, a bit more of a hassle. After clearing immigration and customs you will need to go outside to catch a between-terminal bus. It's a bit of a hassle if you have much luggage to load onto the bus, as the space can be limited. That bus ride takes about 5-10 minutes. As I recall, they depart at 10-minute intervals.
