Modeled after similar threads in other country forums, this thread exists to enable visiting FT'ers to meet some of the local crew across Japan or other simultaneous visitors. From Hokkaido to Tokyo to Osaka to Hiroshima and anywhere in between and around, let us know where you'll be and when and let's meet up.

I'll kick things off as a visiting FT'er as follows:

I'll be in Tokyo July 17-22. Would love to meet up for drinks and a chat and will be staying at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo. Reply or PM if you are available.

I'll bite. Mr. Fink and I will be in Kyoto this year from Oct. 19-24 and then Tokyo (at the PHT) Oct. 24-27.

I believe you have my telephone number, give me a call and we can meet up for some lunch !^

I will be in Tokyo with my two kids (ages 13 & 15) from about 8/9 - 8/21 although there will be a trip to Hiroshima in there somewhere on JR.

I say about as I may still play with the dates (especially the return) if AA F space opens up between now and then.

Hotels still TBD although I'm leaning toward a hyatt property most likely.

Would love to meet up with some FT'ers either in town or locals.

I'd be happy to catch a baseball game (don't care which team) as well with others if that works into your schedule as well

Well, I hang my head primarily near Kobe, Japan now.

If anybody is down Kansai way, I am primarily hanging around and learning to read Japanese, so always willing to take a break and meet a FTer....

I'm planning to attend the Tokyo Comedy Store level 2 improv class on Wednesday night. There is also some kind of show at Crocodile in Shibuya next Friday. Both are in English.

Doh! Off by a night. I'm at the GHT as usual, with a friend. We may go out later if you are venturing about.

My 17-year-old daughter and I will be visiting Japan from 11/17-11/24/14. We are focusing on visiting anime type places and Harijuku. My daughter wants to be an animator. We would love to meet other FTers.
