Meeting Someone at NRT
I am flying from the USA on AA and arriving in NRT Terminal 2 and my friend will be flying UA from the USA and arriving in Terminal 1.
Where is the best place to meet up? We are planing on taking the Limousine Bus to our hotel so I am guessing the bus stop or sales desk is the best spot. Since I arrive before him, I am planning to take the land side shuttle from Term 2 to Term 1 but which wing should I go to? North or South? Any insight is much appreciated. TIA |
This question has been asked several times in the past -- this should answer your question:
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/japan...ing-place.html The Starbucks in the basement of T1 is convenient for the buses (just go back upstairs). |
To answer the other part of your question, United uses the South Wing of T-1.

Thank you ... I will check out the other thread my search didn't find that one.

If you can coordinate which bus you'll take to the hotel, why not just meet on the bus? The terminals are not close and I don't see any advantage to change terminals to meet just to then get onto the bus.
In both wings of Terminal one, if you enter at the arrivals level, there's a small windowless area at the back sing posted as waiting/meeting room. It seems to have some vending machines and plastic chairs. The rest of Terminal 1 arrivals isn't much more pleasant, although I think there are a few coffee places. Up on level at departures, there are a bunch of restaurants land side between the North and South check in areas. One level up are a couple more restaurants, IIRC fast food type, and an outdoor observation deck that is used by smokers. |
