It would be nice for the area if this took off as there are a significant number of skilled people (particularly from the North East) who could do with a break.
Geisha can never work as stand alone individuals, their craft involves a whole array of other professionals, artists and artisans most of whom need to work from Japan (if not locally) with Japanese sourced materials. Geisha are like iceberg swans, you see a diminutive elegant lady on the surface, but below is an intricately meshed together consortium of industries pedalling furiously to keep the fragile vision afloat.
