Depending on which hotel you are staying at you may be able to get tickets through them too. I am staying at the HR Kyoto and Conrad Tokyo and both were very willing to purchase tickets for us for a minimal markup ($2-$4, take that Ticketmaster!)

Keep in mind that the crazy loud fans generally sit in the outfield. The infield is mostly populated by casual spectators.
