Man, I must be missing something, because I've never felt unsafe in Ikebukuro or anywhere else in Tokyo, even late at night. I've been extremely ANNOYED by the club touts in Roppongi, but never felt unsafe. Now Tijuana on the other hand....

(seriously though, should Ikebukuro be avoided at night for safety concerns or whatever?)
