That being said, if you don't have FF status with NWA/Delta, it still might be possible that someone would help you, you can't really be sure until you get turned down at least 10 times IMO.

What FF status gives you is a shorter time on hold on each call and also typically a higher probability of finding an accomodating agent. But even with the highest FF status, trying twice may not be enough.
