Rakuten Rebate Japan 10% point back promo for JAL int’l tickets
 

Rakuten Rebate Japanese site is running a promo for JAL tickets.

にほんご site only.
International tickets only.
10% points back into rakuten account.
(100k yen payment -> 10k rakuten points(japan), if I understand right)
Rakuten (Japan) points can be converted into NH miles 2:1.

I have not tried this so I am not 100% sure it actually works, but the promo ends soon, next Wednesday (11 DEC), so I am posting this.

The terms and conditions are a bit unclear on what booking classes are applicable, Flex fares are specifically excluded. However Dynamic Saver and. Business Saver are given as examples of fare that are applicable. But in the T&Cs I can't find a complete list of fares that triggers the rebate.

It looks like the rebate only applies to reservations made on the Japanese JAL website.

I see this in the exclusion list:
JAL海外サイト（海外発航空券
Translates as: JAL foreign websites (tickets issued outside of Japan

Nevertheless, I tried following the 10% rebate link, and got to a JAL page that only allows departure from Japan. From this page, I could navigate myself to a more flexible reservation page but probably the rebate doesn't apply there.
