JL827 NRT-DLC 8/22 windshield crack
Returned to NRT after cracking developed mid flight. Tail JA835J

The old registration format is JA (Japan) + digit for aircraft type, e.g. 8 for 787 + 2 digit aircraft number + J for JL or A for NH

That's quite a bit of cracking. I wonder if it was somehow mounted wrongly, increasing the tension in the windshield. If such a thing is even possible. What are these windshield made of?
