JL708 on 12/24/19 Seat Question
 

The aircraft is listed as 788 shell neo on JL site.

However, seatguru lists that plane as having rows 1-10 for J.
JL site shows that flight as having rows 1-8.

Is this plane the sky suite or shell flat neo?

it is the shell flat neo. E03 (Total seating capacity: 206)

The business cabin goes till row 8, and the business class lavatories are before the second set of doors.
*the similarly configured but superior skysuit E12 (Total seating capacity: 186) has the lavs after the second set of doors, FYI.
Your flight is E03 configuration. (see screenshot below)

There is a little convoluted (but reliable) way to find out the equipment configuration code from the seat map (for Chrome):

1. Open the seat map from the JAL web site
2. Press F12 on your keyboard
3. CTRL+F and search for sprite-jl-
4. Characters after spirite-jl- represent the equipment config code (sprite-jl-e03 for example)

Also it seems the seat back of the seat icon is rounded for Shell Flat Neo while it's straight for Sky Suite (and seats are staggered).
