JAL to refresh SS7 interior from Aug 2019

https://www.jal.co.jp/inter/service/newsky/w84/

Below are the highlights:
- C, PY, Y seats will get new covers that's more consistent with the new A350 design
- PY and Y seats will get new seat back pocket design
- Mood lighting finally
- Darker interior walls for galley, lavatory, etc (similar to A350's)
- Modernize lavatory design with washout in ALL classes

Some of the lavs were getting long in the tooth and pretty worn, so refresh plus adding washlets while not going to slimlines sounds almost too good to be true. Will miss the geometric patterns on the antimacassars though. The single colors are a bit bland.

Nothing in F? The F Cabins could also do with a bit of TLC.

But generally a lot of the 77W does look a bit aged by now.

F gets the new lavatory, mood lighting, and dark walls :p

probably because the leather seat covers are still in good shape?

All of the before pictures are from a 787,the after pictures are from the 77W. They ran out of pictures of the current 77W cabins?

Some of the leather covers do look worn, but they will probably just get the same again.

should play dumb and ask if they are adding an extra seat per row :p

I hope that JL made sure that water doesn't leave ugly white residue on those dark walls after drying especially in lavs.

Maybe 787 refurbs are next so they can reuse the pictures?

So here's the question. Was it originally made by some mindless marketing drones who did not know the difference, or were they just assuming no one would notice?
