Russian state media ran a story that ANA was going to start VVO, that was something like 6 to 9 months ago. Hoping aviationwire is a better source.

Haha. Maybe he just said a Japanese carrier and the rest of the story was media assumption.

Wonder if it would be feasible for JAL or ANA to fly their regional jets (Bombardier, Embraer, Mitsubishi etc) to Vladivostok?

From a distance perspective yes, it is not much more than 1.5 hours. But I think all the current planes are in domestic config. So no galley space for an international service

does this include most of ANA A321/320neos and JAL 737-800 that are only in domestic configuration. It is well know that most of ANA/JAL flights to neighboring China\ korea\taiwan fly with widebody aircraft

I think the current ANA A320 fleet is domestic only. But not 100% sure.

Both JL and NH announced the launch of NET-VVO service today. JL has tentative equipment and schedule details which is lacking from NH’s announcement

I think JAL will probably share the route with one world partner S7 in lower seasons eg (NRT-VVO 4 Weekly S7, NRT-VVO 3 weekly JAL)

it is illegal to coordinate on scheduling and pricing without antitrust immunity

but at the end of the day I’m sure S7 and JAL will sell each other’s flights

that’s called code sharing, not sharing the route via schedule coordination. Also fares are set independently through codesharing
