Compensation for overnight delays?
 
Hi, my in laws have a flight tomorrow JAL811 NRT-KHH 1805 which is being delayed to next day 0845. What is the compensation schedule for JAL and how does travel insurance make a difference if any?

Status on JAL site says delayed due to snow forecast at NRT so weather and unlikely to provide lodging or compensation.

Travel insurance for a hotel or other costs is the way to go. You might double check the terms and see what they need for processing (screen shot of the JAL status page showing delay, etc).

Hello in the end I don't think the airline gave anything. Travel insurance paid for hotels and around £100 a head (party of around 12 lol) which isn't too bad all things considered.
