Hi,
I know the First Class showers are currently closed, but is the show shine service currently available?
We are connecting ORD to NRT, in First, then onward to TPE and will be in NRT on March 21.

I had assumed the shoe shine service was available, but wanted to see if anyone can confirm.

Also, is there a long wait for the showers at around 15:15 in the Sakura Lounge? Based on the press release, it doesn't look like there is priority for the showers for First passengers?

Thanks!

I would expect the shoeshine service to be there still on the 21st, but I don't know. I'll be there the 21st in the morning, so if you are on the Inflight WiFi, I can give you a few hours" heads up.

So in short 4F from 4/1 has:

1. Open buffet style, including set menus
2. 2 kinds of ramen
3. Sushi bar

Is that correct?

That's what they write.

There is shoe shine service in the main 3rd floor lounge. The waiting time for showers was crazy long this morning, and so was processing time for shoes. It is a long weekend, so the airport is busy.

Japanese breakfast looks like the most decent option with grilled fish.
American breakfast has scrambled eggs, sausages, potatoes and salad.

Judging from the new photos the ramen is available from breakfast on (I would assume all day).

The morning plate dish for western is:
Sandwich Plate (Caesar chicken)
Salad Plate
French Toast Plate
Tiramisu

Sushi Tsurutei is a little bit bigger compare to 3F sushi bar area.

Paid a visit there this morning.

Overall, much more space so didn't feel crowded
  • Ramen size was a small bowl so was good. They didn't put any meat on like on the photos. Didn't ask them why
  • They no longer allow you to specify which sushi pieces that you want. You have to grab the set that comes with the egg
  • Phone booths are a bit noisy cause they're facing each other, but there are 6 of them now.
Some bits felt new, some bits old so wasn't that spectacular

They got rid of most of the buffet items that are also served in Sakura Lounge. And no more Soup Stock Tokyo

I was reading an interesting comment on OMAAT. There seems to be an expectation on Japanese forums that the fourth floor will be the future dining area, and the 3rd floor will be connected via a staircase.

A bit busy day, so I have not read the link that was included

Oh no, I liked Soup Stock Tokyo. Are you saying to enjoy the soup, one must go to the Business class lounge?

they got rid of that from Sakura Lounge already, not listed even on the March menu.

if you read the link CPH-Flyer provided, it still references soup stock Tokyo so I am not sure if they are just replacing soup stock Tokyo temporarily with shark fin soup
