Question about JGC
Hi JAL enthusiasts,
I wanna ask if you have made it to JGC (non Japan based), aside from the 5000 jal miles deduction, are there any additional requirements to keep the membership alive? Ex. Minimum segment fly with JAL
Thank you all in advance!

dont break other rules?
on sth OT, someone requested sashimi instead of sushi yesterday at NRT F lounge. Chef refused then he complained to lounge attendent and told her to "fix it" (wow, what a DYKWIA). Im not sure if attendant asked the chef but she said it cannot be done either. The, when he ordered toro sushi he got the reddest akami there is in the sushi bar. and the chef clearly reserved a few pieces for him (I got extra lot of toro sushi from the "the other pile")
i wonder why was this guy on JL735, checked in at the C checkin area, but got escorted and got in F lounge. (seems like hes the boss of G-2000)

Probably more for the conversational forum. The extra ground services are usually afforded to CEOs of larger Japanese companies and to high ranking public officials/politicians. It is not rare to see in Narita and Haneda. I would assume you can also pay your way to that service. Though I never looked in to it.

Sanders would be subject to the Fly America rules, so more likely he would be on United anyway.

There are no minimum requirements once you made to the JGC and pay the 5,000 miles "annual fee", however, JAL do have the Double FOP Promotion every year makes me gonna do a run every two years to get JGP/JML for OW/E status pretty easy. (Also the bonus miles on AA with active JAL elite status was a charm)

Thanks for the reply and pardon my rather slow one. The reason I asked is because I received my JGC card but somehow got a expiration date ending in 2021 instead of next year. I too thought 5000 miles would be deducted every year and the JGC membership would last only one year until you renew. May I ask if yours is the same?
it ought to be 032020...
