wow bad service in japan??
maybe im lucky ive only flown say 6 or so sectors in J from SE Asia and did not have any problems
btw how do you know if crew is BKK / HKG based? U mean they are non-Japanese crew?

OP should just switch to CX if he has to fly HKG-HND again if service is consistently bad

i agree. not to mention JL has crap schedule. and hot cabins. and cold food
