Premium Economy Lounge Access: JAL operated, AA codeshare
 
Hi all -
Quick question regarding JAL's lounge access policy for Premium Economy. I'm flying a roundtrip premium economy ticket (DFW-NRT-HAN) sold by American, with DFW-NRT operated by AA and NRT-HAN operated by JAL but on an AA codeshare. Two questions: (1) Does JAL allow access to their lounges when flying Premium Economy if the flight is an AA codeshare, and (2) would I be able to use the Sakura Lounge at NRT on my way home when I've arrived from a JAL Premium Economy flight and I'm about to connect to an AA flight? Thanks in advance!!

To answer question two first, no you will not be allowed access based on arriving in PY.

​​​​​​For question one, I would expect this to be by marketing carrier rules, but to be honest I don't know. I expect a no, but please report back. When JAL prints you boarding pass in DFW, it will be printed clearly on it if you have lounge access.
