They need routes that they can go out and back in less than 24 hours, so they only need one frame per rotation. I did not study the distances, but DEN is out for sure, and I would guess LAS and PHX as well PDX is already served by Delta and DEN by United so not quite unserved markets.

They need routes that they can go out and back in less than 24 hours, so they only need one frame per rotation. I did not study the distances, but DEN is out for sure, and I would guess LAS and PHX as well PDX is already served by Delta and DEN by United so not quite unserved markets.

JAL used to run seasonal charters to FAI for a number of years.
Another point, does the service have to be daily or could be something like 3x weekly, alternating with another destination for the other 3x/4x?
And in the completely speculative department, will the LCC be a OW affiliate or offer any benefits for JAL elite?
