JAL advance seat selection with AsiaMiles??

JAL advance seat selection with AsiaMiles??
I've been trying to figure out the rules for advance seat selection but I'm very confused by what I'm reading online. I'm hoping someone can please clarify this for me.

I've booked BOS-NRT and HND-JFK in U class using AsiaMiles for next April. I have PNR's from both JAL and CX.

How far in advance can I reserve seats?
Can I do it online or will I have to phone?

You can do it only using JL PNR now. Just go to ar.jal.com and enter your information in the view reservation/check-in tab.

Thanks JALpak. I didn't know if there were restrictions with award tickets using Asia Miles.

JALPAK is correct, no restriction, you just need the actual JAL confirmation #, Asiamile may give you their own confirmation number and it can't be use on Jal site, I selects seat 8 months out on Award tix
