On one hand I'm happy to see JL expanding again, but NRT really puts such a damper on anything they might have planned. :/

as some insiders already figured out, Melbourne and Kona services have been announced. One more new route is still in the works...

The text of the article stated that JAL may suspend NRT-CDG. Aren't those 777 routes with F class? Would there be a new USA route or would F return to either SYD or CGK?

I got the opening offers by mail today. The ones for the Japan market. Interestingly Kona is nearly 50% more expensive than Melbourne. Interesting price setting, it does say a lot about market dynamics.
