SAN-NRT JAL 788 Business: still angle-flat into the future?

Sorry for what looks like a simple look-up question, but I'm a bit tangled up in their terminology for the 2 different 788 Biz seats. I think I'm clear that they are angle-flat now if I am looking things up correctly, but I'd like to be sure. Also, I am wondering if there has been any announcement of a future planned change for this route to the other 788 configureation with the true lie-flat seating?

Many thanks.

No announcements so far, they are remaining angled flat for now. Though as angled flat goes, one of the best ones I have tried.

Thanks, CPHflyer.

I've read some divergent opinions about their angled-flat seats, thanks also for your input. Whichever, I guess they look at SAN as a low-priority destination. Given that they're charging the same points or dollars, I guess maybe I'll try LAX.

I'll be flying SAN-NRT-SAN in September. Any update on if J will still be angle, or upgraded to flat? JAL website still shows this as angled.

There's no plan to upgrade NRT-SAN.
