Will I have access to any NRT JL lounge on day of arrival from BKK-NRT?
I will be flying on AA award from BKK-NRT-ORD on JL708 (Biz) arriving NRT at 4:05pm with an overnight connection at NRT of 19hrs, then departing the next morning on JL10 (First) at 11:10am. I had previously contacted JL in BKK and JL said because my NRT-ORD connection is less than 24hrs, I would be able to check my bag through to ORD at BKK, and both BKK-NRT and NRT-ORD boarding passes would be issued at BKK. Because I will have the NRT-ORD boarding pass, I am assuming I can transit at NRT and stay airside, but will I have any JL lounge access on arrival?

Anyway, since you will need some kind of hotel or accommodation for the night, you might as well just go there to begin with.

The terminal closes overnight, NRT is not operating 24 hours. So around last departure of the day, you will be sent landside. I am not sure if they will let you through to the departures area with a next day boarding pass, but I doubt it.

As I said, I doubt it. There is no direct access from departures to arrival immigration. You would need to be escorted down. And as such knowing that you would needed to be escorted down, they are highly unlikely to let you through transit security with a next day boarding pass.

There is however a Capsule Hotel you can use at USD40.

You will have lounge access. The big problem is that NRT closes down before midnight until early in the morning so the lounges are closed as well during that time. There are usually decent deals to stay in Narita itself or you can easily head into Tokyo either by train or the Airport Bus.
Enjoy

Do you have Frequent Flyer elite status from OneWorld airlines? CPH-Flyer is correct that you will not have an access to Sakura Lounge at NRT based on class of service of you flight. However, if you happened to have OneWorld Sapphire or Emerald status from OneWorld airlines then you will have an access to Sakura Lounge at NRT based on Frequent Flyer elite status.
