JAL 787 Surrounded by Fire Trucks in BOS, 10/2/2015

Was flying out of terminal E in BOS yesterday Friday 10/2 (8 AM flight), and in what looked like an active runway, there was a JAL 787 surrounded by fire trucks.

Either one of the emergency slides was deployed, or there was a ramp that looked just like an emergency slide attached to the front left door. There was another truck under the wings with some kind of cherry-picker, but couldn't see clearly.

Anybody on that flight, or what was that about?
