That depends on your metrics. It is full flat. It is rather om the narrow side. For a day flight I would prefer the old NEO seat.

Yes you'll get allowed in, as lucky for you there appears to also be a 2pm YVR-HKG flight. The CX lounge is closed between 2pm and ~8pm, and the JL flight appears to depart at 2pm.

Seat Guru says width in inches on AA 767 in J is 19.8 and JAL is 25.5.
I completely disagree. I'm a big guy and I found the JL seat tight. Both in the shoulder area and the hips.
I also didn't like the arm rest didn't go down increase the sleeping space.
I found the table space too big. I would have personally preferred more seat space.

I don't know why anyone would trust seat guru when JAL has clearly published the info themselves on the website and the seat width between armrest is ~52cm

I recently flew YVR-NRT-BKK-NRT-YVR. On the YVR to NRT flights the aircraft was a 767 with SkySuiteII. The NRT to BKK leg was a 787 with the Shell Flat Neo seats. I actually felt I had more room in the seat on the 787. However there is more privacy on the 767 with the Sky SuiteII. I was able to sleep on both aircraft. I concur that on the 787 with the NEO flat seat that row 7 is ideal because the bulkhead allows the window seat occupant to get up and leave the seat with out disturbing the aisle passenger due to the bulk head. BTW, I never was aware of any odor from the restroom. JAL in J keeps the restrooms clean throughout the entire flight.
