Tokyo Delhi flying time
JAL 749 from Tokyo to Delhi has 10 hours listed as Travel Time whereas JAL 740 on the way back only has 7 hours 30 minutes listed? It's a pretty significant difference to account for head winds on the Westbound trip. Any know why?

Are you able to reproduce the incorrect info? If so I'd like to track it down, so let me know.

If you look at historic data, the flight time are actually similar. And the placeholder schedule appears to have more schedule padding than before. Not sure if that will stick, only time will tell.

I flew this route. I remember they flew parallel to the Himalayan mountains on the southern side.
Jetstream runs stronger there in winter and it is gone in summer.
Japan Meteorological Agency explains this with an animated GIF.
Look at figure #3 here.
It's interesting this affects Japan's rainy season, too.
