Just to kick start a wiki, with answers to frequent questions.
1. We're flying HND-NGO-HNL. NGO-HNL is booked in business class, but HND-NGO is in economy. Will we still get the baggage allowance as if we're flying business class the whole way?
A: Yes. written here (link)
2. We're flying HND-NGO-HNL. Will we have lounge access in HND?
A. Definitely, within the lounge access rules of course. written here (link)

Not happy once I was at the jet bridge! Saw F sign and I knew something was up. JAL ended up using the originally planned equipment type on my flights! No wonder my Class J cleared. But I want domestic F if it’s available oh well I had already spent the upgrade fee at the airports during connection so they are getting my money either way LOL

How available are Cathaway J flights from YYZ - DPS for 2 people? Planning a trip for next March, trying to accumulate miles right now just curious if I would still be able to book it ~4-6 months before departure on miles

Difficult to say, maybe the Cathay forum can help you a bit more on general release times. Then there is the question of of that reflects to JMB availability.

Anecdotal, I recently booked a J award on Cathay 5 months out, and found reasonable availability So certainly not impossible.

FYI, AM members claim they have better availability over JMB members

And speaking of AM, any rumours on the codeshare with them? I have a Mexico City trip in my fall schedule, and it would be lovely to have the direct AM flight as JL codeshare.

and I assume it doesn’t cover any of their code sharing partners on that route either?

For the JGC paper coupon (2000yen), what's the best use of them? I can spend them on ticket but the service charge seems high whether at the airport or over phone, and there isn't a way to purchase online right?

There is no way to use them online. I have tried to book a ticket online, not issuing it, and then go by the JAL Plaza in Yurakucho to have the coupons applied. That also triggered the 5300 yen booking fee.

I don't really understand why they don't give epoints to non Japan residents as well So much easier to use.
