English press release is now available: http://press.jal.co.jp/en/release/201208/002217.html

767-300ER will also get full-flat seats!! And the English PR also says

A foremost highlight of the renewal is the fully flat beds in Business Class arranged in an innovative layout that offers every customer unobstructed access to the aisles.
So I wonder what layout it is

Also no mention of 787 which is odd considered the 763 is getting new full-flat long-haul seats too...

Flight global has provided more info on the new seat manufacturers. Also new Y seats on 763 will be installed from Oct 2013

http://www.flightglobal.com/news/art...cabins-375557/

Below are links to the manufacturers' websites and their *current* product offering (which might not be the one JAL picked as those could be unannounced products)

First Class: Contour Aerospace, Venus (current JAL Suite?)
Executive Class: B/E Aerospace, Business Class Seat (JAL Shell Flat and NEO) and they also offer something called Super First Class Seat which potentially could be modified to become a C seat (hopeful thinking )
Premium Economy Class: Sicma Aero, Airgo "FX Premium"
Economy Class: Zim Flugsitz, ECO-01

It wasn't ready back in March. But I have no idea why they didn't mention installing them on the new 787s that haven't been delivered though

Here's hoping that the NRT-BOS 787s get these soon!

Good to hear that it will be the same product on all of the 777-300ER's instead of 2 different configuration currently. Much better utilization of the fleet and less confusion for passengers. I remember back in 2009, I was on JL 6 to JFK and it was very tight to the point where I had a hard time breathing. CX's pitch is much better. This is good news. I guess it this is also the time when 777-300ER's to get the new livery while undergoing cabin retrofitting. Any news on when the 777-300ER will get the new livery?

Cheers

Not sure if they would do the new livery with the retrofitting. Last time they grounded the 773 for a month to do maintenance and add wi-fi, they didn't do it.
