E: The residence Inn in Fairfax is probably better than the Hampton Inn in Manassas, but Fairfax is something of a haul from BWI, and Manassas isn't really next door. Hope you won't have to travel during rush hour.

Thanks for the tips...really did not have a choice on BWI vs. IAD as the price was HALF!!! For some reason all of the hotels in/around Manassas were completely booked, and I refuse to stay in a smoking room, so that's why I ended up in Fairfax.

My last long haul for a while...the new job has 0% travel. (old one was 100% travel)
