Restaurant recommendations in Taormina.
 
We'll be going soon to Taormina, Sicily, for a few days.
Does anyone have some good restaurant recommendations?

I paid a quick visit to the Grand Hotel Timeo back in June and thought that the views would almost make the food academic! The hotel is situated just below the amphitheatre. Best of luck and let us all know what u find!^

Al Saraceno is way up the hill, but definitely worth the effort.

Reservation is a good idea because local residents often fill the tables by 9 pm.

Just back from Taormina!
Quite a nice place! :)


Al Saraceno was excellent! Thanks for the tip.

We also enjoyed Al Duomo (downtown) and Licchio's.


This first culinary experience in Sicily was a great one!!!!

Where did you stay in Taormina, and how was it?

I stayed at the hotel Villa Angela which is located up on the hills of Taormina (close to Castelmola). This hotel opened two/three years ago and offers a wonderful view over Etna and the bay of Taormina.
