FCO transfer from AZ to IB flt w/ diff tkts

FCO transfer from AZ to IB flt w/ diff tkts
We fly to FCO from PMO on AZ arriving @ 8:40 am then to MAD leaving @ 11:55 am on IB. they are 2 diff tkts. Is 3:15 time enough for pick-uo our baggage then check-in IB flt?

With on on-time first flight, it should be fine. The first flight claims bags at Terminal 1, and the second checks in at T3.

In my experience, as long as your incoming flight is on time, you are more than fine. The only bugger at FCO is the time it takes for luggage to come out, even on intra-Schengen flights ... e.g. it took 45 minutes with my last LH flight ... but domestic AZ may be better
AZ1776 arrives at T1, IB3231 departs from T3 - walking between the two takes 10 minutes or so
