Rome to Milan With Short Stopover in Florence
Will be in Italy next week - flying into Rome, have a meeting in Florence in the afternoon then continuing on to Milan that night. Does anyone know if I can buy a train ticket from Rome to Milan with a stopover in Florence or do I have to buy separate tickets?
Grazie mille. |

If you are traveling on the high speed trains (Freccia or Italo) you need separate tickets as seats are assigned and one makes a reservation for a particular train at a certain fare with various change restrictions. |
You would have to buy those train tickets separately. The trip from Florence to Milan is about 1hour and 37min. I remember that I paid 24 euros to do that trip (one way without any stop), but it was two years ago so maybe now it will be more expensive.
