Easter week in Campagnia?
 

Will be in Italy April 16-29, 2019. Open to suggestions on events or things to do or see over Easter Sunday/Monday to enjoy. Will most restaurants be open for business?
Particularly interested in the Benevento area, or perhaps somewhere on the Amalfi Coast ?

If you plan on "going back" (airport, home, etc.) in the afternoon of the Pasquetta/lunedì dell'Angelo (Easter Monday) be careful: you'll hit very heavy traffic on all autostrade as people are coming home from long weekends, visits to the family, picknicks, you name it. It once took me 2.5 hours from Castellamare di Stabia to Pozzuoli and another time 4 hours from Napoli to Rome, whereby one hour was spent on a traffic jam waiting to pay the toll at Frascati Est, close to entering the GRA. Plan accordingly!
