Train to MXP from Florence???
 

We plan to take a train from Florence to MXP on an upcoming trip.

Our train would get into MXP (presumably) @ 9:40 or so AM.

Our flight from MXP to LHR would depart 11:30AM or so.

My question is: would this plan provide enough time to make our flight with check-in, security, etc? What would you think would be minimum time required?

We are flying Club class which should reduce some of the wait time...I think?

BA checkin closes 45mins before departure, so assuming no delays you would be ok.

~2 hours sounds like enough to me. I know you didn't ask this, but I'll suggest you look and confirm, that 9:40 arrival to MXP is to MXP itself and accounts for any train changes you need to make, right?

Thank you for the heads up about train time...but, yes, the time I was referring to in my query was from the arrival time at MXP (route is Florence to Milan Centrale to MXP).
