A few ideas for Milan After Dark:

The fashion district (Via Manzoni, Via Montenapoleone and Via della Spiga) is a nice place to walk around and window shop in the evening. There are occasional free concerts in front of the Duomo (I saw Lang Lang not that long ago). The Castello Sforzesco is open Thursday evenings in the Summer.

If you have the time and transportation to get to Varese I highly recommend Albergo Bolgna-Varese. Amazing!
