Where to while away the time at Malpensa
 

I've been through MXP a few times recently, thankfully not for long. This time, however, I have a longish layover - I'll have to spend a few hours outside before I can check in.

The airport looks like a mess outside - would be glad to get suggestions for anywhere reasonably clean and quiet to sit down for a few hours, late at night....

Without heading off the airport, maybe the Sheraton. Up a level is the bar/restaurant area which is generally not too noisy. I don't know what their spa hours are (I think they have one). If that works, perhaps a little pampering.

I agree. I've done that, minus the spa. Decent bar, nice restaurant, very pretty, upscale, relaxing, and a five minute walk to check-in.

Sheraton with bar, restaurant, gym and spa and / or volandia if you don't want to stay far away.

Spa hours at the Sheraton are normally 8:30 - 23:00.

Well, seems to be a unanimous vote for the Sheraton, then....

The swimming pool is closed for some week because of damages.
